Leak – Fortnite has Major Crossovers in the Works

An upcoming crossover event starring Pirates of the Caribbean is expected to debut in Fortnite during Chapter 5 Season 3 according to a new leak. For Fortnite, Epic Games has become well-known for securing partnerships with significant intellectual assets. Numerous well-known franchises, like LEGO, Marvel, DC, and Star Wars, have been united into the world of Fortnite.

May 3 marked the beginning of what seems to be a yearly tradition of Star Wars partnerships between Epic Games and Fortnite. Various things inspired by the saga reappear across Fortnite’s game types, while cosmetics with Star Wars themes flood the in-game market. Elements like Stormtroopers, Lightsabers, Blasters, and even Darth Vader himself have appeared all across the globe during the event. It seems like Fortnite is getting ready for its upcoming big crossover project.

Pirates of the Caribbean may be the next big piece of IP to make its way into the game, according to a tweet from the trustworthy Fortnite leaker HYPEX. A leaked Fortnite roadmap from earlier this year revealed upcoming partnerships with artists including Metallica, Doctor Doom, Karol G, and Snoop Dogg. One of these was the well-known Disney series Pirates of the Caribbean, which debuted in a blockbuster motion picture in 2003. This fits the picture on the roadmap and suggests that Chapter 5 of Season 3 will have a Mad Max theme.

There are rumors that the release of the new season may coincide with a LEGO Fortnite update. One of the leaked roadmap screenshots shows a LEGO version of a Klombo. In 2022, Klombos made their debut in the Fortnite v19.10 update. By feeding two Klomberries to a Klombo at a time, players might cause an object to shoot out of the blowhole on the back of their heads. It’s still unclear what exact function Klombos might have in LEGO Fortnite for now.

Thus far, the leaked plan has shown to be accurate; Billie Eilish’s confirmed participation in Fortnite Festival Season 3 is just one example. A farming upgrade for LEGO Fortnite that was connected to the April 23 roadmap further lends credibility to the leak’s authenticity. Players can look forward to future partnerships like Among Us, Fall Guys, and an upcoming Fortnite OG event thanks to these developments.
