Matthew Lillard’s Scooby-Doo Franchise Return Update

After thousands of fans voiced their eagerness to see the gang back together, the voice actor himself provided exciting news regarding Matthew Lillard’s comeback to the Scooby-Doo brand. Scooby-Doo and its sequel, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, were both live-action theatrical productions that were released in the early 2000s.

Lillard performed the role of Shaggy for the first time in both films, which also starred Freddie Prinze Jr., Linda Cardellini, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Frank Welker. Unfortunately, the movie did not attain the same level of popularity as its predecessors, despite the fact that the film featured an all-star cast that included Mark Wahlberg, Zac Efron, Gina Rodriguez, and Amanda Seyfried.
